Lizette van Niekerk became the owner of Lubellos Bridal in 2009. Lizette has a BA degree from the University of Pretoria and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from the University of South Africa. Lizette has a tremendous passion for the sales and marketing environment where she has gained invaluable experience working in the pharmaceutical industry over the past 12 years.
Lizette is married to Jonathan van Niekerk and has two girls Lyuba and Kató. Besides her passion for and priority she gives to her family, her love for bridal fashion is born from her forever romantic aspirations and eye for aesthetic and extraordinary bridal design.
The Lubellos collection is carefully selected by Lizette and she only imports from manufacturers using fabrics from the best original factories in the world, the same factories where famous European design houses also buy from. Dorothy Meij is a renowned, well published, proudly South African fashion designer, currently residing in Europe. She qualified herself as a Fashion Designer in 1997 and completed her B.Com Marketing degree in the 2000 (University of Pretoria). Her versatility extends her person with her passion for music (plays the clarinet) and art. Dorothy is married to Braam Meij.
Twelve years after opening Dorothy Couture, she launched her own bridal collection. The collection will suit every bride’s taste, needs, figure and budget. Every dress on the website is available in white, off-white and cream and available in different sizes. All dresses are exceptional quality and brand new (for sale and hire), at affordable rates.
